Cows and barns require great venting year-round, both for cooling and moisture evacuation. The concept for the barn originates from the airflow over an airfoil. In an airplane wing, air flows faster over the top than over the bottom, generating a pressure difference which lifts the wing. This difference of pressure can also be used as ventilation strategy.
